Food trucks in downtown Indianapolis. A couple years ago my husband and I took the kids to a Comicon because we are cool like that :D It was actually pretty fun and interesting. It was an early Spring day and we were thrilled to enjoy a scrumptious lunch from the local food trucks.
Thus bold little painting would be fun on a larger scale. I will have to revisit this idea soon.
Farewell October. You went by so swiftly. oil sketch. Happy Sunday. Hope your cozy. I am putting on some chicken chili and hope to find some time to paint. Have a great week. This original oil painting is available as well as prints.
As the ground goes to rest cold winds arrive. Happy Halloween! The day is beginning with cold rain and the leaves are falling. I don't remember many trick or treating nights that it wasn't! 🎃
I adore owls. We are fortunate to live in the woods and hear them often. We are in a busy area so I am grateful they still call this little woods their home. This seemed fitting with Halloween tomorrow.
I am busy this weekend working on a new venture. I can't wait to tell you. I am trying something new in the art world. New for me. I am excited and a little nervous!
A bit of whimsy today. These little black capped chickadees look like they are up to something. They were the stars of a much larger painting I did a while back and it was inspiration for this small daily painting.
At the end of a dark rainy day we caught a glimpse of the sunset on the horizon. Only but a sliver for mere minutes under the shroud of heavy overcast. It was so brilliant and fleeting.
We have netflix, prime, hulu etc and they are nice but this sunset reminds me that I would probably be better off if I sat down and watched this more often. ♡
