"Driving Rain" Cars Full Moon Rain Dusk Nocturn daily oil painting

sold

"Driving Rain" 6"x6" oil on primed masonite panel. I love how this time of evening combined with the rain makes the colors dark and intense. I did a very similar painting of this area in a bit lighter values (posted Jan 13, '08)

"Garden Walkway"

6"x6" oil on primed masonite. It feels good to be painting today. It is easy for me to paint in too cool of tones sometimes. Today I focused on keeping my overall "feel" warmer, especially the darks.

Autumn Sunset Neighborhood daily oil painting

"Down the Street"

6"X6" oil on primed masonite.  It is far from fall here today. My neighborhood is actually covered in ice and snow. I needed to paint something different than winter, so here it is. A little more color of an autumn day where the shadows are growing longer. Thankfully spring is around the corner.
