The lights if downtown Fort Wayne, IN are so exciting against the night sky.  This was from our first snowfall a couple weeks ago.  The MLK Jr. bridge is so beautiful all lit up.

Contemporary Art Original Oil Painting So Blade Runner Heidi Malott

Sold
So Blade Runner
6x6 inch
oil on panel
2019

The rainy city at night reminds me of one of my all time favorite movies, Bladerunner.   The night mist, the fog and all the lights set up an amazing play on the atmosphere.  A very difficult subject to photograph however.  So please note the lights and darks of this painting are much richer in person.

Radio City Music Hall Painting Cityscape Original Art

Radio City Music Hall
8x8 inch
oil on canvas panel
2019

New York City landmark.  Which city should I paint next?  I am enjoying the change of pace from my usual daily subjects.

This painting was still wet when I photographed it, making it difficult to get a good image.   Especially the dark areas.  They are much richer in person.  Once it is dry I will post a better pic.
