"Sandcastles" 6"x6" oil on primed masonite. I love the challenge of capturing a moment quickly. This little moment of time on the beach. My brush flies and I get looser in brushstrokes and mixing color right on the painting.

Autumn Abstract
6"X6" oil on primed masonite. Today I switched gears in the studio. I must be getting tired of the sub zero snowy, icy weather of late, for today I was not in the mood to paint with grays and cool colors. So, I had some fun and it made me feel a bit warmer. I was on a roll and my seven month old took a long nap, so I actually painted 3 small paintings! I will post them in the following days.
