Windsurfing Oil Painting Original Impressionism

Windsurfing
oil on panel

A change of pace for subject matter.  I like how the lines in the cliffs mirror the shapes of the sails.

Orange Poppy Field Original Oil Painting Impressionism Landscapes

Sold
Poppies in the Wind
oil on panel
6x6"

Sometimes a painting can really show the joy that went into creating them.  The brushstrokes seem to dance throughout the painting in delight.  My studio windows are open to let the crisp fall air in and I am playing some French Cafe music on Pandora.  A good day for painting.

Day at the Beach Contemporary Impressionism Painting Figures Buildings

"Orange Reprieve"

 6"x6" oil on primed masonite.

I love the contrast of the warm beach and people against the cool blue ocean and sky. Have a Great Weekend!

Red Barn Chicken Rooster Hen Rural Farm Landscape daily oil painting a day Sunset

"Summer Serene"

When this painting started to take shape, I couldn't help but think of the movie "Friendly Persuasion". I have always loved that movie. It must be the barn and the chickens in the warm sunlight. 6"x6" oil on primed masonite.
