A few evenings ago I was putting stuff in our pump house and I noticed the most intense alpen glow on the fir trees from the setting sun. The sky was clear and not so interesting but the scene of the trees blazing in the light of the setting sun looked like a Heidi Malott. A few seconds later the scene looked like this barn.
