Daily Painting Country Intersections
"Country Intersections" Early morning sun before the heat of the day takes over. 6"x6" oil on primed masonite. I always loved driving down country roads as a kid. My sisters and I in the back seat, all the windows down with the wind whipping our hair in our faces. We felt like we were flying. Of course we didn't wear seatbelts back then. Depending on the time of year the landscape was ever changing. Summer meant lush fields, red wing black birds calling, hot and humid, bugs whizzing by.

the painting of cross roads captures the feeling of driving past a lush countryside early in the morning when the light is cool.
