Colorado Animas River Landscape Mountains Pines Rapids daily oil painting


The Animas River in the San Juan National Forest between Durango and Silverton, Colorado. This painting is 6"x6" oil on primed masonite.

  3. I very much appreciate this. The sharpness of the rocks in the middle ground and the mystery of the shadows in the foreground gives me the impression that I am standing on a bank up higher than the turning rapids. This one is exhilerating and it makes me feel I am up in the high country.

    Het is bijna niet te geloven dat je op zo'n klein opp. steeds meer informatie kunt schilderen Heidi.
    In het begin waren het lieve kleine hebbedingetjes die een indruk gaven van de plekjes die je gevonden had, maar nu, nu zijn het voorwaardige schilderijen aan het worden, hoe je het doet, 't is mij een raadsel, maar ga er vooral mee door!!

    Super!
