As the sun was getting low in the sky the colors were so intense.   I spent way too long trying to get a good digital photo of this little painting.   I have to say, it still looks way better in person :)

We went on quite the road trip last week.  Still trying to recover.   Tomorrow will be the first time I will be in the studio this week.

 

Today I had the privilege of being a part of Fine Arts Day at my son's school.  We worked with torn paper collage and landscape.  What joy!  I loved watching the kid's get excited about their creations.

Another very sandy beach painting.  I remember years ago how the sand on the beach would drive me nuts.  Sand everywhere including in your paint  I got used to it and now I don't even think about it.  The warm weather has been good for the soul.   Feeling refreshed and excited to paint on!
