This painting was originally in my scrape/fix pile.  After looking at it a few days I am glad I was able to make it presentable.   I like the atmosphere it has now.

These little paintings are such a fun size.  They can be framed or just propped up on a bookshelf as they are among your favorite things.

Nature's Cathedral

The Autumn leaves look like stained glass windows in a cathedral.   This lovely setting was from Spring Mill State Park in Southern Indiana.

I enjoyed working on a larger 8x10 inch surface.

Sodden Fields

I drive by this field everyday and the view is ever changing.  Depending on the time of day, or season.  This scene is from early spring when the fields were cold and wet.  Waking up from a long Winter.

Dreaming of lazy summer days.  I painted this alla prima meaning all at once.  Smooshing paint around while everything is still wet.  Very exhilarating :)

Warm earthy color in the vineyard.  The grape leaves in fall are so beautiful.  They look like stained glass windows in the sunlight.
