Landscape Figures Tubing Sugar Creek Original Oil Painting

Sold

"Tubing down Sugar Creek" 6"x6" oil on primed masonite.
One of my favorite pastimes with the family. A canoe livery drops you off 2 1/2 miles upstream with a tube and you float along for 2+ hours, seeing sandstone cliffs, covered bridges, skip stones and have a picnic. Bringing an extra tube for the cooler is a must!

  1. I love the colors of this painting! It reminds me, too, that we HAVE TO bust out the canoe that my husband built as a child (with his dad, in their living room) and go on a canoe trip. Though I must say, the idea of tubing seems even more relaxing...

    Beautiful.

  2. Thank you Annie! Wow, what a great experience for your husband! Sounds like a neat story to tell also. I love to canoe, but I do admit, tubing is easier and lazier. Have a nice weekend!

  4. Thank you! Sure is, Joseph. We love to camp near there often. Our kids have grown up loving that place.
