Girl Watermelon Seed Spitting 2 Summer daily oil painting

"Beanpole"

6"x6" oil on primed masonite.  I really wanted to return to this subject after painting a similar piece with a few children enjoying a summer day. I wanted to focus on this sweet little "bean pole"! I also tried to keep this fresh and loose with the sun dappled through the trees on a hot summer day.

Spring Landscape Field Flowers Daily oil Painting

sold
6"x6" oil on primed masonite. I actually painted this from a fall day, but it seemed more like spring. It must have been a last ditch effort of summer. There were little flowers sprouting everywhere. I love the peaceful feeling of this landscape and sky!

Chicken Rooster Hen Daily oil Paintings

sold
"Into the Afternoon Light" 6"x6" oil on primed masonite. The warm afternoon sun shining into the barn was intense. The colors danced on the straw and chickens. I really had fun studying all the reflective color!

Footprints Snow Woods Winter Barn Maple Syrup daily oil painting

sold
"Footprints in the Snow" 6"x6" oil on primed masonite. I must have taken 100 pictures of this painting to get one that looked as close to the painting as possible. I had to take it outside for the best lighting at brrr...29 degrees. I still think it looks best in person.

Sunset Ponce Inlet, Florida Sailboat Dolphin daily oil painting

sold
6"x6" oil on primed masonite. I painted this image I took on a trip to Florida. While waiting for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Inlet Harbor, we spotted dolphins in the harbor. A storm had passed and a beautiful sunset ended the day.
