sold "Into the Afternoon Light" 6"x6" oil on primed masonite. The warm afternoon sun shining into the barn was intense. The colors danced on the straw and chickens. I really had fun studying all the reflective color!
Nice chicken painting. Looks almost fluffy. It's such a surprise, when you aren't around chickens much, and then pick one up and find that those fluffy looking creatures are not so fluffy. My thought was that it might hurt to have quills growing in your skin. I guess not, though. 8>)) We have a lot of chicken things in our den and kitchen. My daughter has been collecting those, but I haven't gotten into painting them, yet. They do seem to be popular.
