Arizona Red Rocks Painting Stormy Skies

"Stormy Skies"

The last of the red rocks we would see on this trip. We were driving through Navajo Nation towards Colorado. You could see storms rolling on the horizon for miles. Here, they seemed to hover along the red rock.

This original oil painting is on primed 6"x6" masonite.

  1. Those red rocks are amazing when the setting sun hits them. As an artist you think you died and went to heaven - so beautiful to see. I loved seeing your awesome gallery of paintings Heidi.
