Reduce-Reuse-Recycle is today's mantra. I have a stack of paintings that failed miserably and never need to see the light of day. So every once in a while (usually when I run out of primed panels and don't have time to prepare them and just want to paint) I pluck one from this sad pile and just paint over the old painting.
I always feel such relief when I can "rescue"one from the pile :)
