We saw these birds on our way to a meeting at our son's school.  They were all flying together and morphing from one shape to another.  First we saw a fish and then a dolphin it was so cool, especially with the beautiful sky behind them.

Hey, can you believe I am posting something larger than my usual daily paintings? The corn has been harvested and the crows have swooped in to eat the remaining corn.

"Crows in Golden Wheat" 6"x6" oil on masonite. The autumn trees and fields were golden especially in the sunlight. The contrast of the black crows was breathtaking. Of course anytime I see crows feasting in the fields I immediately think of Van Gogh or Tipi Hedron in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds"
