Stay warm today! I am back in the studio and hope to post some new work for 2013. My family started the new year under the weather. Nothing too severe but never seemed to end. I injured one of my fingers the other day requiring 4 stitches! Thankfully not my painting hand. Boy oh boy do we know how to kick of the year, huh? It is all up from here, cheers!
I like his skin texture. Fact.

ReplyDeleteI stumbled onto your blog a month or so ago, and I LOVE your paintings! You have a gift, and you capture things so beautifully. I am a beginning painter, and have painted a few paintings inspired by some of your work just to learn your technique. You have an awesome gift at capturing life in a such a beautiful way.
ReplyDeleteThank you Paintings! The face can be tricky. Sometimes less is more.
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa! Life gets so crazy busy, I enjoy the moments I do get to paint so much.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, Thank you so much for the kind words. I am pleased to hear that my work inspires you. Keep on painting friend!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are coming back to bless us with your talent. I was so concerned that I sent you an email many months ago to see if all was okay or if life just got crazy. Then I worried even more. So glad to see you are good and look forward to seeing what you're doing.
