"Sweet Pasture" cows daily painting
6"x6" oil on masonite. sold
I love painting cows and horses on location. I kept a "safe" distance and tried to capture the atmosphere of the cows in the distance. The city girl in me got a little nervous once when I got surrounded by about 4 curious, rather large horses that wanted to taste my paint on the palette and the peanut butter crackers in my backpack. Thanks for looking!

Farm at Sunset Barn daily oil painting Fall Autumn
sold
6"x6" oil on masonite. Every year my husband's Uncle Jon has an autumn bonfire. The kids love it, they run through the woods with their cousins all day, go on hayrides and explore the winding creek. As the shadows grow longer, the sun casts the landscape in a golden light. This farm was nearby. It was so captivating in this warm glow. Thanks for looking.

Kitchen Art Painting Chili Pepper
Drying Pepper
6x6" oil on masonite. This pepper has been sitting on my kitchen window sill since the end of summer. My father-in-law gave it to me along with some other garden treasures. It was amazing to watch as the pepper transformed from a plump, rounded green to a shriveled, sharp edged pepper with reds ranging from cadmium to alizeran. Here is my tribute to this amazingly beautiful little pepper on my window sill. Thanks for looking.

"Antique Lamp" painting a day oil
sold
6"x6" oil on masonite. I have always admired interior paintings, and for some reason, I just haven't done many. I usally plein air paint but as the weather gets colder, I will be painting indoors much more. I bought this lamp years ago and it has been one of my favorite posessions. It has been repaired by my husband numerous times. He is more practical than I. Even if it didn't work, I would still keep it and love it! Thanks for looking

"Viv's Profile" 6x6" oil on masonite
6"x6" oil on masonite.
sold
This young lady was working at a local farmer's market. I liked how she had her hair twisted up, she had a very Romanesque look about her. I think as artists we are struck when we see people in the 21st century that look like they walked out of a different time period, or just have that "look" that you would love to paint. We want to say something or paint them right there on the spot. Unfortunately, if you'd approach them they'd probably hop on their cell and call the police!! :) The artist eye, always painting!! Thanks for looking.

sold
6"x6" oil on masonite
In front of the Lightner Museum. St. Augustine, Fl.
St. Augustine is amazing, if you are not familiar, you must google this city. It is the oldest city in the United States. I have been there a few times while visiting family. Definately an artist community. With so much history. If you ever get a chance, it is a must!! Thanks for looking!
