When painting a landscape it is easy to be overwhelmed by all the details. Sometimes I have to write a simple message on a post it note and stick it right on my easel: "Simplify" or "KISS" (keep it simple sister!)
You are right that sometimes less is more,I'll try to remember that ! This is beautiful indeed !

ReplyDeleteSimplicity is what attracts me to most of the paintings I like. You've captured a lot of mood by keeping the composition and colors simple. It's lovely.
