Contemporary Autumn Sunset Landscape Oil Painting

6"x6" oil on primed masonite. The cooler winds are blowing in and summer is drifting out.

  2. Thank you Mary! I prefer to paint on location or plein air. Thats all I did for years. Now with a toddler, I usually only paint during naptime. I don't paint from photos printed on paper, I paint from photos that I have taken and downloaded to my laptop. I wouldn't be able to paint from photos successfully if I had not painted plein air. A photo leaves out so much.
