"Cloudline" 6"x6" oil on panel. I have to giggle when I look at this. I love how the clouds look like they are hanging out to dry on a clothesline. A happy little painting. Capturing a fleeting moment makes them fresh and lively. These landscapes are where I am from, my familiar.
When I opened my email subscription to your work and saw this, I an automatic "oh my" escaped me. Now I'm not the sort of person who say things like "oh my" - but it was three parts chuckle and two parts delight.
ReplyDeleteI just love this. I once pursued a "chorus line" of fall-streaks or mare's tails across two counties in order to photograph them for later painting. This reminds me of my dancing clouds.
