A portrait of my oldest grandson.   He lives to snuggle with a blanket.

I don't do much portrait work.  It was quite the challenge.  I look forward to more portrait efforts.

Close up

I am so thrilled to finally do a portrait of my Grandson.  When my son sent me the picture of them making a snowman after dark, I knew this had to be the one.

I have never painted a snowman nocturne!
What a fun challenge!

On His Birthday

Not for Sale

Our youngest a few years ago.  The joy of laying in the grass and dirt on a summer day with your toy car.

I am enjoying and struggling to improve my portrait work.  Trying to keep them loose and fresh, not overworked.  I painted this in my head many times and finally got around to actually painting it.  I have so many more portraits I want to do.  My family is growing, I now have two grandchildren, so I better get busy.
